    Building Client-Centered Web sites

    Welcome everyone!  For those who are joining us from around the world and to anyone who is interested in talking about this subject, we are happy to have you with us.

    Thanks for initiating this conversation Laura!  This is by far my favorite subject and I look forward to seeing where we go with it in this forum. 

    I've always maintained that web sites progress through three stages, or levels: 1.) the online brochure, 2.) the information-rich site, and 3.) the client-centered web site.  The client-centered site encompasses the first two levels, of course, but also creates a rich, interactive experience for clients.  In my vision, the website becomes a shared workspace where planner and client can collaborate in the implementation of the financial plan.  For an example of what this might look like, visit www.yebu.com and enter the word "demo" into the Private Page login field.
