On behalf of FPA, I'd like to thank Rick Adkins for his time today. We did have an additional question at the end of the session:

Richard R. Cuba: Help me understand how we are to operate in a world that has several different definitions for the work "fiduciary"?

Where there are multiple standards, the most rigorous would govern.  For example, a CFP certificant, registered as an Investment Advisor Representative of an RIA who is serving an ERISA client would have three sets of fiduciary obligations.  Generally, the ERISA fiduciary obligations would be the most stringent.  By complying with those fiduciary obligations you would generally comply with the other two.
