I've always maintained that web sites progress through three stages, or levels: 1.) the online brochure, 2.) the information-rich site, and 3.) the client-centered web site. The client-centered site encompasses the first two levels, of course, but also creates a rich, interactive experience for clients. In my vision, the website becomes a shared workspace where planner and client can collaborate in the implementation of the financial plan.
