The presentation was great for an experienced advisor, yet some of it a
repeat of what I have heard within the industry. My question that was not
addressed (and may have been lost in transit), is Where should a new person with
the financial background including the financial planning, but no clients or
investment management experience begin in order to build this dream
business? What type of environment - independents branch with OSJ,
corporation where he/she pays much of the expenses (office rent, E&O and a
portion of marketing), support another independent advisor and hope to
find time to build own client base, etc?
